* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Los Angeles County specifically in and near the San Fernando Valley in southwestern California... * WHEN...Until 700 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 406 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Van Nuys, Northridge, North Hollywood, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Burbank, Granada Hills, Pacoima, Sherman Oaks, Porter Ranch, Sylmar, Canoga Park, Toluca Lake and Calabasas. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
