* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Southwestern Los Angeles County in southwestern California... * WHEN...Until 800 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 551 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rockslides or mudslides cannot be ruled out. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Encino, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Universal City, Woodland Hills, Griffith Park, Interstate 405 through the Sepulveda Pass, Brentwood, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Topanga State Park and Hollywood Hills. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
