* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern San Bernardino County in southern California... * WHEN...Until 445 AM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 141 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms in the Morongo Basin. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Low water crossings and sensitive washes will likely be flooded or have elevated flows. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms Base, Twentynine Palms Airport, Amboy, Joshua Tree Lake Campground, Joshua Tree and Morongo Valley. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
