What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks and streams, highways, streets, underpasses, drainage areas and other low lying spots.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeastern Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado... North Central Douglas County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 815 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 627 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. However, rainfall has ended in the area, and conditions should begin improving. This includes the following streams and drainages... Newlin Gulch, Murphy Creek, Piney Creek, West Toll Gate Creek, Plum Creek, Little Dry Creek, East Toll Gate Creek, Big Dry Creek, Garber Creek, Rainbow Creek, Happy Canyon Creek, Willow Creek, Cherry Creek, Coal Creek, East Plum Creek and Indian Creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Southwestern Aurora, eastern Centennial, eastern Highlands Ranch, northwestern Castle Rock, northwestern Parker, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, Sedalia, Arapahoe Park, Foxfield and Shamballa.
