* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Elbert County in east central Colorado... Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 621 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Rattlesnake Creek, Middlemist Creek, First Creek, Wilson Creek, Beaver Creek, Badger Creek, Agate Creek, Hay Gulch, Cottonwood Creek, East Bijou Creek, Muddy Creek and Middle Bijou Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Deer Trail, Agate and Cottonwood Valley.
