What the bulletin says to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country roads, farmlands along the banks of creeks, and other low lying areas are subject to flooding.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeastern Clear Creek County in central Colorado... West Central Jefferson County in central Colorado... * WHEN...Until 545 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 256 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the advisory area. This is causing small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Evergreen, Brookvale, Kittredge, Indian Hills, Wah Keeney Park and Genesee.
