What is happening
What: Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Where: A portion of west central Colorado, including the following counties, Delta and Mesa. When: Until 1015 PM MDT.
What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the following counties, Delta and Mesa. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 714 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.7 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Southwestern Delta and Southeastern Mesa Counties http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
