What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and other low lying areas.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Lincoln County in east central Colorado... South Central Washington County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 945 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 652 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Vega Creek, Sand Creek, Gordon Creek, Dugout Creek and North Fork Arikaree River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lindon and Anton.
