What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country roads, farmlands along the banks of creeks, and other low lying areas are subject to flooding.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Morgan County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 1130 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 825 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Antelope Creek, Wildcat Creek, Bijou Creek, East Prong Wildcat Creek, Rock Creek, South Platte River and Badger Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Morgan, Log Lane Village, Adena School and Fort Morgan Airport.
