* WHAT...Flash flooding through narrow canyons and small creeks caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Canyon Creek into Ouray, CO. * WHEN...Until 730 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rockslides and mudslides are possible. Avoid traveling and recreating through the advisory area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 530 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
