What the bulletin says to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country roads, farmlands along the banks of creeks, and other low lying areas are subject to flooding.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Weld County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 855 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Cache La Poudre River, Owl Creek, Lone Tree Creek, Spring Creek and Willow Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northern Greeley, Eaton and Ault.
