* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Big Bend and Panhandle Florida, including the following counties, in Big Bend Florida, Liberty. In Panhandle Florida, Bay, Calhoun and Gulf. * WHEN...Until 1130 AM EDT /1030 AM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1028 AM EDT /928 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall rates of 3 to 4 inches per hour are expected as storms linger. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Stonemill Creek, Wewahitchka, Orange, Chipola Park, Chipola Cutoff, Scotts Ferry, Kinard, Marysville, Red Hill, Lewis, Broad Branch and Jensen Place. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
