* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Charlotte County in southwestern Florida... Northern Lee County in southwestern Florida... * WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, East Dunbar, Buckingham, Palmona Park, Lochmoor Waterway Estates, Olga, Charleston Park, Burnt Store Marina, Tice, North Fort Myers, Suncoast Estates, Fort Myers Shores, Page Field Airport, Page Park and Gateway. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
