* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Gulf County in the panhandle of Florida... * WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT /300 PM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 153 PM EDT /1253 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Port St. Joe, White City, Wewahitchka, Dalkeith, Honeyville, Highland View, Willis Landing, Saint Joe Beach, Howard Creek, Overstreet, Beacon Hill, Ward Ridge and Wetappo. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
