What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Where: A portion of west central Florida, including the following counties, Hernando and Pasco. When: Until 1245 PM EDT.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Florida, including the following counties, Hernando and Pasco. * WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1045 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Spring Hill, Brooksville, Weeki Wachee, Hernando County Airport, North Weeki Wachee, South Brooksville, North Brooksville, Timber Pines, Weeki Wachee Gardens, Pine Island, Hill n Dale, Brookridge, Garden Grove, Masaryktown, High Point, Glen Lakes, Shady Hills, Weeki Wachee Acres and Spring Lake. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
