* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Hillsborough County in west central Florida... Northwestern Manatee County in west central Florida... * WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 955 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bradenton, Palmetto, Fish Hawk, Brandon, Ruskin, Greater Sun Center, Riverview, Parrish, Palm River-Clair Mel, Ellenton, Memphis, Sun City Center, Little Manatee River State Park, Gibsonton, Wimauma, Progress Village, Boyette, Peter O Knight Airport and Palm River. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
