* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...East Central Indian River County in east central Florida... * WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 353 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Vero Beach, Indian River Shores, Gifford, Vero Beach South and Jaycee Beach. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
