* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Lee County in southwestern Florida... * WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 939 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cape Coral, Villas, Cypress Lake, Pine Manor, McGregor, San Carlos Park, Harlem Heights, Three Oaks, Iona, Southwest Florida Airport, Matlacha Isles-Matlacha Shores, Matlacha, St. James City, Pine Island Center, Fort Myers Villas, Page Park, Whiskey Creek, Page Field Airport and Estero. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
