* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Pinellas County in west central Florida... * WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 525 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Largo, Pinellas Park, Seminole, St. Petersburg, South Highpoint, West And East Lealman, Feather Sound, Bay Pines, Gandy, Kenneth City, Madeira Beach, Highpoint, Lealman, Sawgrass Lake Park and Saint Pete Clearwater Airport. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
