* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Burke County in east central Georgia... Southeastern Richmond County in east central Georgia... Southwestern Aiken County in central South Carolina... Southwestern Barnwell County in central South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 538 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plant Vogtle, Savannah River Site, Jackson, Shell Bluff Landing, Savannah River Site K Complex, Savannah River Site H Canyon, Audubon's Silver Bluff Sanctuary and Bennock Mill. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
