* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Evans County in southeastern Georgia... Liberty County in southeastern Georgia... Long County in southeastern Georgia... Tattnall County in southeastern Georgia... * WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 944 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Glennville, Claxton, Hagan, Daisy, Jennie, Bay Branch, Daniels and Claxton Evans County Airport.
