* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Habersham County in northeastern Georgia... Central Rabun County in northeastern Georgia... * WHEN...Until 345 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1246 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall may result in minor flooding. Rapid rises and minor flooding is expected on Tiger Creek, Panther Creek, and Hazel Creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clayton, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy, Mountain City, Tiger, Sky Valley and Tallulah Falls. Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
