* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Lanier County in south central Georgia... Central Lowndes County in south central Georgia... * WHEN...Until 915 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Valdosta, I-75 At Exit 16, Moody Air Force Base, Remerton, Dasher, Valdosta Regional Airport, I-75 At Exit 11 and Naylor. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
