* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeast slopes of the Big Island of Hawaii... * WHEN...Until 345 AM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1221 AM HST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over Kau and Puna Districts. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Wood Valley, Pahala, Volcano, Punaluu Beach, Kawa Flats, Glenwood, Naalehu, Mountain View and Fern Forest.
