* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Kauai in Kauai County... * WHEN...Until 1245 AM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 915 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated bands of moderate to locally heavy rain over Kauai. The heaviest rainfall has been occurring over south and west Kauai with rates of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. Additional bands of heavy rain will be possible over the next several hours. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lihue, Kapaa, Kalaheo, Kekaha, Lawai, Omao, Kokee State Park and Poipu.
