* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County... * WHEN...Until 445 PM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 223 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally heavy showers over windward Oahu, with the heaviest rain falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour over the central Koolau Mountains. Gages are measuring rises in water levels in several streams. The most notable rises have been on the Waiahole and Waikane Streams, and if the current rainfall persists rapid stream rises will be possible on windward Oahu. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Honolulu, Kahaluu, Waiahole, Ahuimanu, Waikane, Kaneohe, Kaaawa, Aiea, Kaneohe Marine Base, Halawa, Moanalua and Pearl City.
