Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Fremont County in southwestern Iowa... South Central Cass County in southeastern Nebraska... Northeastern Otoe County in southeastern Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 730 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 417 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Street flooding in low-lying and poor-drainage areas is ongoing in Nebraska City. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
