* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Pottawattamie County in southwestern Iowa... Douglas County in east central Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 448 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. 1 to 3 inches of rain is falling in a short period of time. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Omaha, Council Bluffs, Ralston, Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Millard, Carter Lake, Valley, Waterloo, Crescent, Standing Bear Lake, Benson, Aksarben, Flanagan Lake, Zorinsky Lake and Midtown. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
