Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Payette County in southwestern Idaho... Southwestern Washington County in southwestern Idaho... Northeastern Malheur County in southeastern Oregon... * WHEN...Until 300 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1204 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain in the area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.8 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ontario, Payette, Weiser, Fruitland, Annex, Moores Hollow, Indian Head Mountain, Mann Creek Reservoir and Mann Creek Guard Station. https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
