* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...De Kalb County in north central Illinois... Northern La Salle County in north central Illinois... * WHEN...Until 215 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1014 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour moving into the area. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly after the onset of rainfall. Some locations that will experience flooding include... DeKalb, Sandwich, Mendota, Sheridan, Shabbona, Lake Holiday, Cortland, Hinckley, Somonauk, Earlville, Waterman, Maple Park, Malta, Serena, Leland, Millington, Lee, Harding and Norway. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
