* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected over portions of the advisory. * WHERE...Southeastern Livingston County in central Illinois... Ford County in east central Illinois... * WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen near Fairbury, IL. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Paxton, Fairbury, Gibson City, Chatsworth, Forrest, Piper City, Melvin, Roberts, Elliott, Sibley, Strawn and Clarence. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
