* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Kankakee County in northeastern Illinois... Southwestern Lake IN County in northwestern Indiana... Northern Newton County in northwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1105 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour moving through the area. Localized flooding of roadways and poor drainage areas will occur shortly. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kankakee, Bourbonnais, Bradley, Manteno, Momence, Lake Village, Roselawn, Limestone, Grant Park, Aroma Park, Hopkins Park, Shelby, Sun River Terrace, Schneider, Sumava Resorts and Thayer. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
