* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Lake IL County in northeastern Illinois... * WHEN...Until 245 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 137 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The bulk of the heavy rain has moved east of the area. Additional showers and storms may shift back into the area later this afternoon. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Waukegan, North Chicago, Gurnee, Mundelein, Highland Park, Round Lake Beach, Vernon Hills, Zion, Grayslake, Libertyville, Lake Forest, Round Lake, Antioch, Wauconda, Fox Lake, Lake Villa and Deerfield. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
