* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Jackson County in south central Indiana... Northern Lawrence County in south central Indiana... Southern Monroe County in south central Indiana... Southeastern Greene County in southwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 942 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bedford, Oolitic, Heltonville, Bartlettsville, Charles Deam Wilderness, Fairfax State Recreation Area, Norman, Harrodsburg, Avoca, Kurtz, Pleasant View, Freetown and Owensburg. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
