* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Hamilton County in central Indiana... Northeastern Johnson County in central Indiana... Marion County in central Indiana... Northwestern Shelby County in central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1035 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Carmel, Fishers, Greenwood, Lawrence, Franklin, Beech Grove, Speedway, Southport, Westfield, New Whiteland, Cumberland, Whiteland, Bargersville, Meridian Hills, Warren Park, Homecroft, Rocky Ripple and Williams Creek. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
