* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Hancock County in central Indiana... Johnson County in central Indiana... Rush County in central Indiana... Shelby County in central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1104 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Greenwood, Franklin, Greenfield, Rushville, New Whiteland, Cumberland, Whiteland, Bargersville, New Palestine, Morristown, Carthage, Fairland, Milroy, Glenwood, Spring Lake, Manilla, Arlington and Waldron. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
