* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northern Indiana, including the following counties, in north central Indiana, St. Joseph. In northern Indiana, La Porte and Marshall. * WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT /630 PM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 423 PM EDT /323 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... La Porte, Walkerton, North Liberty, Koontz Lake, Kingsbury, Fish Lake, Stillwell, Salem Heights, Teegarden, Tyner and Linkville. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
