* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Anderson County in central Kentucky... Southwestern Franklin County in central Kentucky... Southern Shelby County in central Kentucky... Central Spencer County in central Kentucky... West Central Woodford County in central Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 815 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Shelbyville, Lawrenceburg, Taylorsville, Junte, Mount Eden, Harrisonville, Wayside, Gee, Hemp Ridge and Waddy. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
