* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Boyle County in central Kentucky... Central Garrard County in central Kentucky... South Central Jessamine County in central Kentucky... North Central Lincoln County in central Kentucky... Northern Marion County in central Kentucky... Southern Mercer County in central Kentucky... Washington County in central Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 721 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Danville, Lancaster, Springfield, Mccreary, Junction City, Perryville, Loretto, Mackville and Dixville. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
