* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Green County in central Kentucky... Southeastern Hardin County in central Kentucky... Southern Larue County in central Kentucky... Northwestern Taylor County in central Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT /midnight EDT this evening/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 802 PM CDT /902 PM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Campbellsville, Hodgenville, Sonora, Wards, Hibernia, Bloyd, Ginseng, Badger, Allendale and Mount Sherman. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
