* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The Flood Advisory is for portions of Rockcastle and Jackson counties in Kentucky. * WHEN...The Flood Advisory is in effect until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low lying and poor drainage areas is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 822 PM EDT, Weather radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms had occurred. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. More than an inch of rain has likely fallen in some places in less than an hour. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Mount Vernon, Boone, Disputanta, Roundstone, Wildie, Conway, Snider, Bummer, Rockford, Climax, Threelinks, Johnetta, Goochland, Morrill, Hiatt, Clover Bottom, Shirley, Gum Sulphur and Brodhead.
