...The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Flood Advisory for the following rivers in Kentucky... North Fork Kentucky River at Whitesburg affecting Letcher County. * WHAT...Elevated river levels caused by excessive rainfall are expected. * WHERE...North Fork Kentucky River at Whitesburg. * WHEN...From early this morning to late this morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Low lying areas flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 2:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 7.1 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.2 feet early this morning. Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
