Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following county, Rockcastle. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to earlier thunderstorms. Minor flooding is likely ongoing across the advisory area. Between 1.25 and 1.75 inches of rain fell. No additional heavy rainfall is imminent, but any ongoing minor flooding impacts will continue. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Boone, Disputanta, Rockford, Climax, Snider, Roundstone, Bummer, Conway, Wildie and Goochland.
