What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. Where: A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Alcona and Alpena. When: Until 715 PM EDT.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Alcona and Alpena. * WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 522 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Alpena, Ossineke, Hubbard Lake and Devils Lake. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
