* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Calhoun County in south central Michigan... Eaton County in south central Michigan... Southern Ingham County in south central Michigan... Jackson County in south central Michigan... Eastern Barry County in southwestern Michigan... * WHEN...Until 345 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 948 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Up to 1.5 inches of additional rain are possible over the next few hours. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jackson, Charlotte, Albion, Mason, Hastings, Eaton Rapids, Potterville, Leslie, Nashville, Bellevue, Stockbridge, Brooklyn, Grass Lake, Vandercook Lake, Leoni, Spring Arbor, Napoleon, Sandstone, Aurelius and Onondaga. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
