* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Delta County in south central upper Michigan... * WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Standing water on roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 909 PM EDT, Trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Escanaba, Ford River, Hyde and Schaeffer. www.weather.gov/safety/flood
