* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following county, Kent. * WHEN...Until 730 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 120 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rainfall amounts have reached 1.5 to 2.0 inches per hour and this is expected to continue for the next hour or so. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, Grandville, East Grand Rapids, Lowell, Caledonia, Gerald R. Ford International Airport, Jenison, Ada, Cascade, Dutton, Alaska, Cutlerville, Alto and Byron Center. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
