* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Cooper County in central Missouri... Northern Pettis County in central Missouri... South Central Saline County in central Missouri... * WHEN...Until 215 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1108 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen during the past hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... La Monte, Bunceton, Houstonia, Hughesville and Clifton City. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
