* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of North Mississippi, including the following counties, Alcorn, Prentiss and Tishomingo. * WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 138 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen with additional heavy rainfall expected. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Iuka, J P Coleman State Park, Burnsville, Glen, Tishomingo, Leedy, Midway, Burton, Pineflat, Thrashers, Farmington, Paden, Walker Siding, Hazard Switch, Holts Spur, Holcut, Doskie, Blythe Crossing, Oldham and Bacon Springs. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
