* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northwestern Alamance County in central North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. While the first round of rain has ended as of 6:15pm, additional rain is expected to move into the area from the west. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Altamahaw-Ossipee, Altamahaw and Lake Burlington. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
